This week, Allen ISD released proposed changes to attendance zones in anticipation of the opening of the 18th elementary school in August 2017. Elementary #18 will be located on Chelsea Boulevard, north of Star Creek.
The majority of students affected attend Lindsey Elementary and live south of Hwy 121 in Star Creek, Shaddock Park and Saddleridge communities. These students would attend Elementary #18. The only changes in the middle school boundaries affect Twin Creeks Crossing Apartments. These students who presently attend Ereckson, will move to Curtis.
Over the next month, the Board will be accepting public input online and at two public meetings scheduled for Nov 3 and 10 at 7 pm at the Allen ISD Service Center. A final decision will be made in December/January.
